When we tell people we are hoping to adopt or have adopted sometimes, they say, " oh good for you.." When I hear this I cringe.
Some people think we are super hero's for adopting. We are not the super hero's!
Those who choose to place their child, are the real super hero's.
It is not about creating a family for an adoptive couple, its about the parent's of this child and their choice.
They are the real deal, THE SUPER HERO!!
They deserve honor and praise.
Sometimes after choosing something heroic..
An epic battle appears and people can say mean things..
The dynamics of friends and family can change, based on maybe what they can see? Their opinion!
Uniquely are the shoes we wear in this life, it is not anyone's right to judge, but ONE who LOVES us as His own.
Whenever you are in the presence of a parent weather they have placed a child or not, they deserve
Love. Respect. Honor.
